Section 1

What NEET Biology is for

NEET Biology exists for one student: the one preparing for NEET Biology who has a doubt at 11 pm and nobody to ask. The app is built around Bio Tutor, an AI tutor that answers Biology doubts in plain language, any time — and around the habits that turn answers into marks: your chat history filed by day, saved answers you can revisit before the exam, a daily streak that rewards showing up, and study insights drawn from your own questions. Timed quiz practice and a bank of past-year questions are on the way, in the same app, at no change to this policy's promises.

Everything below follows from that purpose. We collect what the app needs to teach you and nothing else, and you can walk away — with your account fully deleted — at any time.

Section 2

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo Google shares. You can also add a photo yourself.
• Study profile — the class, target exam year, state, and daily practice goal you enter during setup. These personalise the app; none are verified or required to be precise.
• Your questions and answers — every doubt you ask Bio Tutor and the answer it gives is stored to your account, so your history and saved answers survive a reinstall.
• Study activity — which days you chatted, what you saved, and counters derived from them (your streak, doubts per week). These are computed from your own questions, not tracked separately.
• App diagnostics and usage — crash reports when the app stops unexpectedly, and a record of which features you use: that you opened Deep Learn or saved an answer, never what you asked or what you were told. If you allow notifications, your device also registers a reminder token so the study nudges you turned on can reach it.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos beyond the one you choose as your avatar, or anything from other apps on your device.

Section 3

How we use it

• To answer your doubts — your question text is processed by our AI tutoring service to generate the answer you see.
• To keep your history, saved answers, and streak in sync with your account across reinstalls and sign-ins.
• To show you insights about your own studying — computed on your device from your own activity.
• To fix what breaks and to see which features actually help — crash reports and counts of which features are used. These carry your account id so one student's session can be told from another's; they never carry your question text or your answers.
• To send the daily study reminders you turn on, and to stop the moment you turn them off in the app or in your phone's settings.
• To send you one welcome email, to the address on your account, when you finish setting up your account. It is sent once and never repeated; we do not send marketing email.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own use. Your questions are never published, never used to identify you, and never shared with other students.

Section 4

Where your data lives

Your account and study data are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Storage) — the same infrastructure that signs you in. Crash reports, feature-usage counts and reminder delivery use the same provider's Crashlytics, Analytics and Cloud Messaging services, and the one welcome email is sent through Google's Gmail. Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. On your device, in-progress work is kept in encrypted local storage. Firebase acts as our processor and does not use your content for its own purposes.

Section 5

Students and age

NEET Biology is a study tool for students preparing for a national entrance exam, typically aged 16 and above. If you are under 18, use the app with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. We knowingly collect nothing beyond what this policy describes, whatever your age.

Section 6

Deleting your account

Deletion is complete and permanent: your account, profile, chat history, saved answers, and streak are all erased, along with our record of your welcome email and our copy of it.

Section 7

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters — new data collected, a new way it is used — the effective date above changes with it, and the app will point to the updated page. Minor wording fixes may happen without notice.
